Hi, I’m ochelle baller.
I'm thrilled to be your Personal Organizing Guide!
Life is a journey, and organizing is no different. As we transition through various seasons of life, our organizing needs and strategies evolve with us.
Growing up, my family instilled in me the importance of tidiness and organization. Each of us had our own plate, cup, fork, spoon, and other essentials. We were responsible for cleaning and putting away our items, no matter where we lived—whether it was a hut in the mountains, a restaurant and house combo in the city, or a two-story house with a bakery in a small town.
When I left home, I thought I would break free from those routines. However, I found myself naturally adhering to the habits I had learned: clean as you go and put things back where they belong.
In 2009, I married a Canadian man. My six-year-old daughter and I packed up our lives and moved across continents to join him. Coming from the Philippines, the Pearl of the Orient, this was a significant change for us.
Marriage brought the challenge of blending our different organizing styles. Initially, it was tough. I often found myself frustrated, asking, "Why can't you put your dirty clothes in the laundry basket?" or "Why can't you put the cup in the sink or dishwasher?" Sound familiar?
Over time, I realized we needed an organizing system that suited all of us.
As I mentioned, organizing is a journey. As you navigate through different stages and seasons of life, you'll discover what organizing system works best for your current lifestyle. I've been through it all, and I understand the challenges.
I'm here to be your Personal Organizing Guide. Let's embark on your organizing journey together!
